On the Oregon coast with Deb

Deb and I are touring the Oregon coast this weekend. It's our first camping trip together.

This photo is a fishing boat being towed out of the ocean with Haystack Rock in the background. The captain is signalling to the driver the precise time to pull, using the waves to help move the boat onto the beach where it will be loaded onto a trailer.

Deb tried to get me to wear a more dignified expression but I resisted. We are having too much fun!

Dinner that evening was at Tulicci's in Cannon Beach. We enjoyed delicious pasta with tasty sauces and fresh baked bread. The restaurant is a converted house where the upstairs room is available for visitors to rent. We camped in Seaside that night but we might try staying here the next time we visit. Highly recommended.
