Taking Adam to the MSF dirt bike class

Adam, Deb's 13 year-old son, and I have travelled to Port Angeles, Washington to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Dirt Bike class together. For Adam it will be his first time to ever ride a motorcycle and for me it will be more much-needed practice on a dirt bike.

That's Adam on a Yamaha TT-R 125 and Suzy of Port Angeles Power Sports. Suzy is a patient teacher and does a super job of demonstrating the lessons.

Adam proves to be an able rider. Only once did he drop the bike and rarely ever stalled it which is impressive for a first-time rider. He quickly developed a feel for coordinating the clutch and throttle and was zipping his TT-R around the course in no time at all. His favorite part was the obstacle course. My favorite part was watching the excitement in his eyes.
